The field for rounds five and six of the LEDextra GT Cup championship contained a number of new entrants that would ensure a very close grid across all the groups.

An extreme looking beast from across the pond that drew plenty of admiring glances. 2012 Class Two champion Pete Smallwood also returned in his gloriously liveried chrome, blue and lime 2013 Porsche 997 GT3 Cup car. Both drivers would have notable talent partnering them with Bob Berridge joining Nigel and Porsche Supercup driver Ben Barker joining Pete.
In an effort to get closer to the GTO group cars ff Corse have added an aero pack to Alex Martin's 458 Challenge car. They were additions that would prove more that worthwhile as the yellow car flew around the short Indy circuit to claim pole position by over eight tenths of a second. "I'm very happy with my morning's work," said Alex. "It's not too shabby around the Indy circuit.""
